Balloon Flights Italy is a co-operation between Ballooning in Tuscany (Italy), Virgin balloon Flight (UK) and Slowfly (Italy) to offer local as well as foreign guests safe, legal and fully licensed balloon flights in Italy. This co-operation has become possible due to the recent European integration where Commercial Air Operators can work in any of the member states of the European Union.
We are already offering balloon flights in a large part of Italy but we are still working hard to increase our launch sites and the areas we are flying over.

Apart from having an Italian Commercial Balloon licence Paolo has also had a UK Commercial Pilot Licence and is a UK Balloon Inspector and a UK Balloon Instructor.
He has been the Italian National Champion twice and has participated in European and World Championships as well as various international events in: France, Switzerland, Germany, United States of America, Spain, Great Britain, Ireland, Austria, Hungary, Croatia, United Arab Emirates, Burma and Luxemburg.
He is an Italian delegate at the Ballooning Commission of FAI/CIA and also the Chair of the Event Development Service Sub Committee at FAI/CIA (EDS SC).
Kenneth Karlstrom, Chief pilot for Ballooning in Tuscany and Virgin balloon Flights in the UK.
Kenneth holds various hot air balloon licences as well as an airship rating. He has competed in several world ballooning championships and he is a UK, CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) instructor and examiner. He also owns the company in the UK who operates the large fleet of Virgin balloons. He is one of the most experienced balloon pilots in the world.
