Balloon Flights Italy is a branch of AirXcite Ltd a company registered in the UK. There we trade as Virgin Balloon Flights and have a fleet of 20 hot air balloons, flying 30,000 people each year.

CEO Kenneth Karlstrom is one of the world’s most experienced commercial balloon pilots having been flying and managing balloon operations for over 30 years.

Originally from Sweden, but now a UK resident, Kenneth has flown balloons all over the world, from Italy and the Swiss Alps to Kenya’s Masai Mara, and has developed a business approach to commercial ballooning based on excellent customer service, attention to detail, but most of all fun.

We follow this same ethos in Italy which has always been a home from home for us as we have held many ballooning events here over the years. We started offering balloon flights in Tuscany in July 2010.

As in the UK, where Virgin Balloon Flights has an impeccable safety record, in Italy we only employ highly experienced pilots, knowledgeable local ground crew and use the latest balloon equipment at all times.
